CORONA, CA (October 12, 2022) – Monday night, a 42-year-old driver died in a crash on Smith Avenue and Pomona Road.
The incident happened at around 6:15 p.m. on Smith Avenue, north of Pomona Road. According to the preliminary investigation, the car headed south on Smith Avenue. Then, it veered off the road and hit a high-pressure water pipe.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old female passenger and a 52-year-old male passenger both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
