41-Year-Old Driver Dies, 38-Year-Old Passenger Hospitalized in Vehicle Crash Near Woodley Park Archery Range

 
Van Nuys, CA (January 02, 2021) – On New Year’s Day, a 41-year-old driver was killed and his 38-year-old male passenger incurred critical injuries in a vehicle crash near Woodley Park Archery Range.
 
The fatal crash happened at around 3:40 a.m. near the Victory Boulevard exit.
 
Apparently, the 2017 Audi R8 they were in went off the southbound 405 Freeway in Van Nuys. It crashed in a field and burst into flames.
 
The vehicle rested in a field near the Woodley Park Archery Range.
 
Unfortunately, the driver was trapped inside the car and the authorities pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
 
On the other hand, the passenger, a resident of Canal Winchester, Ohio, was thrown from the vehicle. Immediately, the rescuers rushed him to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities withheld the driver’s identity who is a resident of Tarzana, pending notification of next of kin.
