40-Year-Old Driver Injured in Highway 100 Fatal Crash [Franklin County, MO]

Toyota Driver Dead in Franklin County Collision

Franklin County, MO (March 9, 2025) – A 40-year-old Toyota driver was injured following a Highway 100 fatal crash Friday.

The fatal traffic accident happened around 11:45 a.m. east of Recreation Drive.

According to the authorities, a 2000 Toyota Avalon driven by the 26-year-old man was traveling west on the highway when it swerved off the right side of the road and into oncoming traffic.

Consequently, his vehicle was hit on the passenger side by an eastbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 40-year-old Union man.

Unfortunately, the Toyota driver was declared dead at the scene at around noon. The authorities transported his body to the St. Louis County Morgue.

The Chevrolet Silverado driver, a 40-year-old Union man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
