Driver Dies in Four-Vehicle Collision Near Foley Road in Hesperia
Hesperia, CA (June 19, 2025) – A man tragically died in a 4-vehicle crash on Summit Valley Road on Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the fatal crash occurred around 1:44 p.m. near Foley Road
Reports say that the deadly crash involved a black Honda Accord, a blue Toyota Tacoma, a white GMC work truck, and a FedEx Ground delivery vehicle.
Emergency crews from San Bernardino County Fire arrived to find the Honda severely damaged, the Toyota Tacoma with major front-end damage, the GMC work truck off the road in the desert, and the FedEx truck overturned in the southbound lane.
California Highway Patrol officers confirmed that the male driver of the Honda died at the scene. Authorities are withholding his identity pending notification of next of kin.
The other three drivers, who were all alone in their vehicles, suffered only minor injuries and did not require ambulance transport.
As of mid-afternoon, the coroner had not arrived, and all vehicles remained at the crash site. Authorities closed both directions of Summit Valley Road for several hours as the investigation continued.
