4 Hurt in Clark County Accident on Highway 95
CLARK COUNTY, NV (July 10, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 95 near Searchlight on July 7.
The incident happened at 10:20 a.m. on northbound Highway 95 south of mile marker 20, Trooper Travis Smaka of the NHP said. He added that the GMC Acadia driver struck the rear of a Hyundai Elantra carrying two people.
Responders transported the Acadia driver and passengers from both vehicles to University Medical Center in Las Vegas. However, the Elantra driver went to UMC via MercyAir.
The crash led authorities to reduce traffic to one lane before the scene cleared about 12:20 p.m. However, police did not release any other information about the accident at this time. In addition, authorities are asking any witnesses for more information.
