4 Killed in Granger Auto Accident on State Route 22 near Milepost 9

 
GRANGER, WA (March 24, 2021) – Wednesday morning, four people died in a head-on crash on State Route 22 near Milepost 9.
 
According to Washington State Patrol, a westbound car traveling on State Route 22 veered across the centerline. Then, it collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced three people from the wrong-way vehicle dead on the scene. A fourth passenger, a child was transported to a hospital with a possible broken femur and laceration to the head.
 
Also, authorities confirmed that a person from the vehicle struck on the eastbound lane also died in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, crews managed to clear the crash scene by 6:56 a.m., Washington State Department of Transportation said.
