Lanes Closed after City of Industry Accident on 60 Freeway and Peck Road

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (February 3, 2021) – Monday, authorities arrested four people after a street racing crash on 60 Freeway and Peck Road.
 
The CHP officers monitored the area of Capitol Avenue and Mission Mill Road after receiving a report of a street takeover.
 
Then, several officers responded to shut down the street takeover. Afterward, they located a lowered white truck that may have escaped from them earlier in a prior chase they lost visual of.
 
However, the truck didn’t stop and continued driving along with a group of street racers. Thus, the pursuit began.
 
The truck drove north on the 605 before moving west on the 60 freeway. Then, it spun out by Peck Road.
 
As a result, authorities arrested the four occupants of the truck at gunpoint.
 
Meanwhile, the officers temporarily closed the freeway lanes.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified how many of the four occupants will face charges.
