4 People Hospitalized Following Back-to-Back Accidents in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 7, 2019) – Four people suffered injuries following a hit-and-run and pedestrian crash at East Cheyenne Avenue and North Lamb Boulevard early Monday.
According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon, the incident happened around 1:50 a.m.
The first crash took place when a Ford pickup truck collided with two other vehicles at the intersection. Subsequently, the driver of the Ford took off, but officers recovered the car a short distance away. The driver, however, remains at large.
As a result of the accident, one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and sought treatment at a nearby hospital.
Six minutes later, a vehicle struck four passersby who were attempting to help the crash victims. Paramedics transported three of them to University Medical Center with survivable injuries, according to police.
