4 Hurt in Phoenix Car Crash

 
PHOENIX, AZ (November 28, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in a head-on car crash on 17 Freeway on November 24.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident happened between the Sunset Point area and Black Canyon City. A pickup truck driver traveled southbound in a northbound lane and caused the crash.
 
Authorities suspect that the wrong-way driver traveled while impaired. Meanwhile, the truck hit an SUV with three people who all sustained serious injuries.
 
Responders extricated one of the three from the SUV. Moreover, responders also took the wrong-way driver to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
