SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (February 9, 2025) – Thursday night, a crippling auto accident on Florence Avenue injured 4 people.

The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on Florence Avenue and S Central Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) believes a yellow-gold SUV struck an LAPD vehicle before losing control and hitting other cars. Officers suspect the driver may have experienced a medical emergency, though this has not been confirmed.
