Injuries Reported in Las Vegas Boat Accident on Colorado River near North Basin of Lake Havasu
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 13, 2022) – Tuesday, four people suffered injuries in a boat crash on Colorado River near the North Basin of Lake Havasu.
According to reports, the crash happened on October 11th, on Colorado River near the North Basin of Lake Havasu.
Officers revealed that a 2003 Aftershock boat carrying two people headed north on the Colorado River near the mouth of the river. Then, an Eliminator boat also carrying two people passed the Aftershock.
As a result, the boats crashed and the Aftershock boat ramped over the top of the Eliminator boat. Then, it hit both of the boat’s occupants.
Moreover, responders transported all four of them to Havasu Regional Medical Center. Two of them sustained minor injuries, one with significant injuries. Meanwhile, responders airlifted the Eliminator operator to a Las Vegas Hospital with serious injuries.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash. However, they ruled out alcohol as a factor in the crash.
