4 Hurt in Garden Grove Multi-Vehicle Accident on Chapman Avenue

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (October 28, 2020) – Monday afternoon, a three-vehicle crash on Chapman Avenue and Haster Street injured four people.
 
According to Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney, the incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. It happened at Chapman Avenue and Haster Street.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle that ran a red light struck an eastbound police mobile driving through a green light by a vehicle. The force of the crash caused the police mobile to spin out of control. Then, it struck another vehicle carrying three people.
 
Responders transported the female driver, a 16-year-old, and a toddler aboard the third vehicle. Furthermore, responders also brought the officer driving the police mobile to an area hospital.
 
The incident is under investigation of CHP.
