Bakersfield, CA (December 20, 2024) On Wednesday afternoon, minor injuries were reported after a frightening 4-car crash on Highway 99.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the multi-vehicle collision happened at about 3:49 p.m. near Ming Avenue.

Reports say that the multi-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 99 near Ming Avenue in Bakersfield caused significant delays .

Authorities say that the crash blocked the first two lanes of the highway. By the time officials arrived, all individuals involved were out of their vehicles, and the extent of any injuries remained unclear.
