Jesse Ingle Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on State Route 14

 
Rosamond, CA (September 3, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 37-year-old man from Rosamond died, while 43-year-old Jesse Ingle also of Rosamond was involved in a motorcycle crash on State Route 14.
 
The California Highway Patrol said the fatal crash took place at around 6:30 a.m. on September 2 south of Avenue A.
 
The motorcyclist was riding a 2020 Harley Davidson Sportster southbound on State Route 14 in the No. 1 lane. At the same time, Ingle traveling on a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro southbound on State Route 14 from Avenue A.
 
CHP also said Ingle diverted his attention away from the roadway and crashed into the curb edge of the Avenue A to southbound State Route 14 on-ramp.
 
“This impact caused Ingle to lose control of his vehicle and travel out of control across southbound lanes, directly into the path of the motorcycle” the CHP report states.
 
As a result, vehicles crashed with each other. The rider was ejected from his motorcycle and incurred fatal injuries.
 
The authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased awaiting next of kin notification.
 
Meanwhile, Ingle remained at the scene and rendered aid while waiting for emergency personnel.
 
“The involvement of alcohol and drugs is not suspected to be a factor in this collision,” the CHP report states.
 
“Tragically, another life was lost here in the Antelope Valley. This is the 24th person killed so far this year in Antelope Valley CHP jurisdiction (SR-14 and unincorporated Los Angeles County),” CHP officials said in the report.
