Las Vegas Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Bermuda Road
Las Vegas, NV (December 26, 2020) – On Christmas Day, a 36-year-old Las Vegas man died in a motorcycle crash on Bermuda Road.
The fatal crash happened at about 4:27 p.m. East Robindale Road wherein a motorcycle crashed into the back of two vehicles.
Authorities believe the Harley Davidson rider tried to pass a van.
The rider then clipped the van and a sedan in the other lane before the rider was thrown from the bike.
Unfortunately, the authorities pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the van and Chrysler drivers remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. However, officers suspect the motorcycle rider was speeding at the time of the crash.
“One of the main problems we’re having throughout the valley is people driving too fast,” Ficklin said. “We’re having way too many people driving too fast on the highways and the roadways. This is the time of year when our fatals on our roadways tend to rise.”
Additionally, Ficklin said officers were unsure if the victim was impaired during the crash.
We at Sweet Lawyers express our utmost sympathies to the family and community of the deceased.
What’s Next after a Fatal Crash?
“Insurance companies will try to save money, even if it means not fully compensating a family for the wrongful death of a loved one. When a family retains an attorney immediately, it gives them time to grieve and heal, while their attorney works to build a strong case and hold the negligent party accountable,” says Tyler Toomey, a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
