Officers Arrest 36-Year-Old Icaro Fernandes in Alder Street Hit-and-Run Crash [Pacific Grove, CA]

Pacific Grove, CA (January 28, 2025) – 36-year-old Icaro Fernandes of Marina was arrested following an Alder Street hit-and-run crash Saturday night.

The traffic collision happened around 9 p.m. on January 25 near Lighthouse Avenue.

Troopers said the 14-year-old boy was struck by a driver in a blue Prius while he was running along Alder Street. 

Immediately, the boy was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital by his parents.

Then, the suspect’s vehicle was seen driving through Pacific Grove the following day.

The authorities then arrested Fernades on charges of felony hit-and-run and is in custody at the Monterey County Jail.
