33-year-old Man Killed, 1 Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Cascade Terrace [Sunnyvale, CA]

1 Dead and 1 Injured in Sunnyvale Accident on Cascade Terrace

 
SUNNYVALE, CA (August 24, 2020) – Saturday night, a 33-year-old man died while another sustained injuries in a crash on Cascade Terrace.
 
At around 11:07 p.m., the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety responded to the 500 block of Cascade Terrace. When they arrived, they located a seriously wrecked vehicle that crashed through a tree and a concrete sound wall.
 
A 33-year-old male occupant sustained major injuries in the crash. The authorities declared him dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other male occupant in his early 30s received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Moreover, the authorities believed that alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
The Sunnyvale Major Accident Investigation Team handles the crash investigation. Moreover, they are urging anyone with information to call Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety Officer Jason Pistor at (408) 730-7109 or jpistor@sunnyvale.ca.gov.
