RIO VISTA, CA (July 18, 2022) – Friday, authorities arrested a 32-year-old woman after a stolen vehicle crash near Esperson Court and Drouin Drive.
 
The incident happened when officers received a report of a stolen silver Toyota RAV4. According to reports, a person stole the vehicle during a carjacking in San Rafael. Then, the owner of the car was dragged behind it.
 
Eventually, officers found the vehicle near Esperson Court and Drouin Drive. Then, the stolen vehicle driver crashed into an officer’s car and fled westbound on Highway 12.
 
Moreover, the driver drove off the road multiple times and popped one of the Toyota’s tires. However, the driver continued driving. Then, it got stuck in a field on the north side of the SR-12 west of 113.
 
Officers revealed that the 32-year-old female driver from Tracy was on probation for auto theft. Eventually, she surrendered when her vehicle got stuck.
 
However, the woman exited without her pants so officers requested the Montezuma Fire Protection District and Medic Ambulance Service to check on the suspect.
 
Moreover, responders took the suspect to a local hospital for further treatment. Then, they booked her in the Fairfield County Jail.
