31-Year-Old Bicyclist Hurt in Catalina Boulevard Road Collision [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (April 09, 2022) On Thursday, a 31-year-old bicyclist was seriously hurt in a road collision in the 500 block of Catalina Boulevard.

According to the San Diego Police (SDPD) says an 80-year-old woman on a 2015 Chrysler minivan turning left onto Garden Lane collided with the bicyclist.

Rescuers said that the rider sustained a fractured collarbone, a fracture to the left wrist, as well as multiple lacerations.

Meanwhile, the female driver did not sustain any injuries.

The SDPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the crash and has ruled out impairment at this time.
