Fatal Phelan Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 and Wimmer Road

 
PHELAN, CA (January 12, 2021) – Saturday, a 30-year-old man died in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 138 and Wimmer Road.
 
According to reports, the victim rode as a passenger of a 2003 Honda. The vehicle was speeding east on Highway 138, east of Wimmer Road.
 
Afterward, the driver lost control and crashed with a 2010 Lexus in the eastbound lanes. Then, it drove across oncoming traffic and crashed with the front end of a 2016 Ford.
 
Furthermore, the Honda went into the westbound lanes and hit a 2012 Jeep. The impact ejected the Honda’s passenger. As a result, responders took the passenger to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Unfortunately, the male victim died at the hospital. His identity wasn’t disclosed as of this time.
 
Meanwhile, the Honda driver suffered major injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the crash. Moreover, the CHP is urging anyone with information about the crash to call Officer D. Stillmunks at the CHP San Bernardino Office at 909-383-4247.
