1 Dead in Orange Bicycle Crash on Meats Avenue

 
ORANGE, CA (September 21, 2020) – Sunday night, a 3-year-old boy died in a bicycle accident on Meats Avenue in Orange.
 
According to reports, at about 7:15 p.m., a woman driving a pickup in a mobile home park struck and killed the boy. Orange police Sgt. Phil McMullin confirmed that the fatal crash occurred on 1931 E. Meats Avenue.
 
Despite the paramedics performing CPR on the little boy, he still succumbed to injuries at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed his identity due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, the female driver remained at the scene and helped with the investigation. Furthermore, the police said that drugs or alcohol didn’t play a role in the incident.
 
The fatal bicycle accident on Meats Avenue remains under active investigation.
