3 Transported in Golder Avenue Collision [Odessa, TX]

Odessa, TX (March 27, 2024) – Three people suffered from injuries following a Golder Avenue collision Monday afternoon.

The OPD officers and Odessa Fire Rescue team responded at approximately 4:03 p.m. to the 2-vehicle collision on West 22nd Street.

Investigators said a maroon Dodge Durango was southbound on Golder Avenue while a white Jeep Renegade was northbound on the same road and was about to turn west onto 22nd Street.

The Jeep Renegade driver failed to yield the right of way and was hit by the Dodge Durango. As a result of the collision, the Jeep rolled over.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the two occupants of the Dodge and Jeep driver to a hospital in Odessa with non-life-threatening injuries.

Later on, the authorities cited the Jeep driver for failing to yield the right of way – left turn.
