Van Driver Hospitalized after Bus Crash on Higley Road in Gilbert
Gilbert, AZ (August 19, 2022) – Friday morning, three students sustained minor injuries in a bus vs van crash on Higley Road.
The crash in Gilbert happened before 9 a.m. on August 19.
Gilbert Fire Department said the collision involved a van and a school bus. The school bus had 59 students at the time of the crash.
Three students were evaluated for minor injuries and were reunited with their parents after the incident.
EMS took the van driver to a hospital in unknown condition.
Scene footage showed the van had large damage on its left side.
