Buena Park, CA (February 7, 2025) – Three people died in a crash on Riverside Freeway involving a big rig and a pickup truck.

Reportedly, a deadly collision between a big rig and a pickup truck claimed the lives of three people early Friday on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Buena Park.

The crash happened around 3:50 a.m., just east of Valley View Street, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). 

Authorities reported that the victims were inside the pickup, but their identities have not yet been released.

In response, the CHP issued a SigAlert, closing all eastbound lanes except for the slow lane while investigators remained at the scene to gather evidence.
