3 Hospitalized in Brentwood Incident on Highway 4 and Balfour Road

 
BRENTWOOD, CA [November 23, 2020] – Early Sunday morning, three people sustained injuries in an accident on Highway 4 and Balfour Road.
 
According to authorities, officers received a report of a crash on Highway 4, east of Balfour Road at around 4:45 a.m.
 
Responders airlifted a victim to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with major injuries. Meanwhile, two more victims were transported to a hospital via ambulance.
 
East Contra Costa Fire Protection District closed down Highway 4 in both directions due to the incident.
 
The Brentwood crash is still under investigation.
