3 Hurt in Issaquah Auto Accident on Highlands Drive
ISSAQUAH, WA (August 10, 2020) – Saturday night, three people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Highlands Drive.
The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on Highlands Drive Northeast near eastbound 90 Freeway.
According to the police reports, a driver first struck a semi-truck and continued driving.
Afterward, the driver struck another vehicle head-on. The two people who occupied the said vehicle suffered injuries.
Meanwhile, the causing driver also suffered injuries in the crash.
Thus, responders transported both victims and the suspect to Overlake Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, it’s still unclear whether the suspect was driving under the influence. The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
