3 Hospitalized after Head-On Car Crash on Palmdale Road and Sheep Creek Road [Phelan, CA]

3 Injured in Palmdale Car Accident

PHELAN, CA (January 18, 2019) — Three people were hospitalized after a head-on car crash just before 12:00 p.m. on January 17 on Palmdale Road about 2 miles west of Sheep Creek Road.

The collision left the involved vehicles – a white truck and a blue Buick La Sabre – with major damages. Police stated the Buick was heading east on Palmdale Road when the driver was unable to control the vehicle after hydroplaning before crashing head-on with the westbound pickup truck.

The injured occupants were taken to local hospitals with unknown injuries. The injuries sustained by the victims were non-life threatening.

Meanwhile, the Caltrans with a snow plow was called to the scene to remove the muddy water off the street.

The factors that caused the collision is still being investigated by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station.
