3 Hurt in La Mesa Incident on State Route 125 near Grossmont Boulevard

 
LA MESA, CA (December 10, 2020) – Wednesday morning, a crash injured at least three people on State Route 125 near Grossmont Boulevard.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, authorities received the report at around 4:30 a.m. Apparently, a gray Honda traveling the wrong way on northbound state Route 125 near Grossmont Boulevard
 
Reports revealed that the Accord crashed into a Toyota SUV. The accord driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot after the incident.
 
After the initial crash, multiple vehicles collided with the wreckage from the incident.
 
Responders transported at least three injured people from the second crash.
 
At around 4:50 a.m., the crash closed all northbound lanes of SR-125 lanes at Lemon Avenue.
 
Authorities expect all lanes to be reopened by 6:00 a.m.
 
No description of the wrong-way driver is readily available as of this moment.
