3 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Cheyenne Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]

Las Vegas, NV (March 29, 2023) – On Tuesday, two drivers and a passenger were injured following a multi-vehicle collision on Cheyenne Avenue.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 4:29 p.m. at the intersection with Englestad Street. Officers said the accident involved two passenger cars and a CCSD bus.

The NLVPD Traffic Bureau stated that a black Honda Civic was eastbound on Cheyenne Avenue and was approaching Englestad Street.

At the same time, a purple Kia Optima was pulling out of a private drive onto Cheyenne Avenue.

Police said the Honda Civic struck the driver’s side of the Kia which was directed and rotated eastbound.

Moreover, a CCSD school bus was westbound on the same road approaching Englestad Street in the center turn lane. The school bus driver saw the initial collision and was able to come to a stop. However, the Kia continued rotating eastbound and struck the front of the bus.

Luckily, no children were on the bus at the time of the accident and the school bus driver did not sustain injuries.

The medical team transported both the Honda and Kia drivers along with a passenger in the Honda to UMC Trauma with unknown injuries.

Officers are investigating the Las Vegas collision.
