3 Hurt in Federal Way Multi-Vehicle Crash

 
FEDERAL WAY, WA (November 4, 2019) – Three people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway on October 31.
 
The five-vehicle crash stalled the already congested traffic on northbound 5 Freeway. It also shut down three lanes of traffic at South 308th Street in Federal Way.
 
According to reports, a speeding Mercedes SUV traveling up the left shoulder caused the multi-vehicle crash. Two SUV occupants escaped the scene but authorities already apprehended them.
 
The South King Fire revealed that responders transported a person with serious but not life-threatening injuries to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. Meanwhile, two other people sustained minor injuries.
 
During the crash investigation, authorities shut down several lanes of NB 5 Freeway but have since reopened. Moreover, the incident also caused a back up around 10 miles — to Fife.
