LANCASTER, TX (April 29, 2025) – Monday afternoon, an alarming plane crash near Greene Road and Pinto Road injured 3.

The incident happened just after 4:00 p.m. near Greene Road and Pinto Road.

According to reports, a Beechcraft King Air aircraft carrying three individuals crashed into a field near Lancaster Regional Airport. The flight originated from Santa Lucia Mexico City Airport and was en route to Dallas Love Field, according to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

Lancaster police stated that the plane made an emergency landing around 3:30 p.m. near Greene Road and Pinto Road. Emergency medical personnel evacuated the three occupants, who were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The NTSB confirmed that the aircraft had reported engine trouble before the emergency landing. In a statement, the agency said it was gathering information to determine whether the aircraft sustained substantial damage or if any serious injuries occurred. If either condition is met, the incident will be classified as an accident and a formal investigation will be launched.
