FERNDALE, WA (October 26, 2021) – Monday night, three people suffered injuries in an auto accident on Imhof Road and Slater Road.
 
The two-vehicle accident happened at around 7:00 p.m. on Imhof Road and Slater Road.
 
According to WSP Trooper Rocky Oliphant, a southbound vehicle on Imhof Road didn’t yield at a stop sign at Slater Road. Then, it crashed into a vehicle traveling on Slater Road.
 
The authorities confirmed that the southbound vehicle driver will be cited for failure to stop at the stop sign. At this time, the authorities do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash. However, the rain could be a factor.
 
One of the vehicles landed on its side and three patients suffered injuries. One of them received treatment at the scene. Meanwhile, an ambulance transported the other one to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center via basic life support protocol (BLS). Moreover, the advanced life support (ALS) transported the third patient.
 
Furthermore, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
