NORTH COUNTY, CA (December 13, 2022) – Thursday night, three people sustained injuries following a traffic accident on 15 Freeway and Rainbow Valley Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at around 7:45 p.m. on southbound 15 Freeway at Rainbow Valley Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle veered into an area where road work is in progress. The vehicle struck two workers before colliding with another vehicle.
 
Moreover, responding paramedics transported three people to Palomar Medical Center with unknown injuries. Also, firefighters extricated a truck driver who was trapped inside the wreckage.
