3 Hospitalized after Multi-Car Crash on Highway 99 [Fresno, CA]

Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Cedar Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (May 13, 2019) – At least three people were hospitalized after a multi-car crash on Highway 99, late Monday evening.
 
According to reports, the collision took place around 10:07 PM, near the Cedar Avenue on-ramp. Dispatchers arrived to the southbound lanes soon after.
 
Based on reports, there were four vehicles involved. They were later identified as a white Mustang, a Honda, a Chevrolet and a Toyota RAV4. However, the details leading up to the collision are still currently unclear.
 
The paramedics confirmed that three people were taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment due to the impact. However, all conditions were said to be minor.
 
Furthermore, the surrounding area was also closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
 
An investigation is still currently ongoing to eventually determine liability. No further information has been given at this time.
