3 Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash on 14 Freeway and 5 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2020) – Saturday afternoon, a motorcycle crash on 14 Freeway and 5 Freeway sent three people to a hospital.
 
The incident occurred at around 12:17 p.m. on the southbound 14 Freeway and southbound 5 Freeway transition.
 
When the officials arrived, several motorcycles were down in the 1 and 2 lanes. They also located multiple patients requiring medical attention.
 
“Firefighters assessed, treated, and transported three patients,” the Los Angeles Fire Department said. “All [patients] are in at least serious condition.”
 
Furthermore, they also received a report of a car in the center divider on the 5 freeway. However, the investigation determined that the said vehicle played no role in the crash.
 
Also, the authorities issued a SigAlert that took in effect for at least 40 minutes. It began by 12:42 p.m. and has shut down the 1 and 2 lanes of the transitional road from the southbound 14 to southbound 5.
