Child and Juvenile Involved in 2-Car Crash on Fairfax Road in Bakersfield, Complaints of Pain Reported
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 24, 2019) – At least three people were hospitalized following a two-car crash Monday evening in Bakersfield.
The crash happened around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Fairfax Road and Center Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Nissan Altima and a black Lexus collided, both blocking the roadway. An infant and a juvenile were occupants in one of the cars.
One patient complained of pain to the head and arms as a result of the crash. A total of three people, including the infant and juvenile, were taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation.
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
It is unknown if impairment was a factor in the crash. CHP officers are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
