Three Injured in Redding Car Accident on Victor Avenue

 
REDDING, CA (July 12, 2019) – Three people sustained injuries in a head-on car accident on Victor Avenue on July 10.
 
The incident occurred about 5:00 p.m. on Victor Avenue and Vega Street. Redding police revealed that a northbound mini-van traveled on Victor Avenue at a normal speed limit. Meanwhile, a white car pulled out in front of them to turn left on Vega Street.
 
Officers revealed that the white car driver didn’t notice the oncoming mini-van before they made the turn.
 
The driver and a passenger occupied the mini-van while the white car only had one occupant.
 
Reports also revealed that the white car driver will receive a citation for attempting to make an unsafe turn.
 
However, police did not release any other details regarding the car accident at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
