3 Hospitalized in 2-SUV Collision on N Grand Street [Amarillo, TX]

Amarillo, TX (July 29, 2023) – On Friday morning, three people sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision on N Grand Street.

The 2-vehicle collision took place at about 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block area.

According to the investigators, a white SUV was northbound while a maroon SUV was southbound on N Grand Street when they collided head-on.

Unfortunately, the white SUV crossed into oncoming traffic.

The medical team rushed three people to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Both of the vehicles involved in the collision were towed.

The Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating the accident.
