Man Hospitalized Following San Diego Motorcycle Crash on El Cajon Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 23, 2020) – Saturday night, a 29-year-old man suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on El Cajon Boulevard.
According to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims, the incident occurred at 7:16 p.m. on El Cajon Boulevard in the El Cerrito neighborhood.
Reports revealed that the Ducati rider headed east on El Cajon Boulevard. However, a 45-year-old male driver of a Toyota Tacoma turned left in front of the motorcyclist, while trying to enter a private driveway. Thus, violating the rider’s right of way.
After the motorcyclist crashed into a pickup truck that had turned in front of him, the rider sustained broken bones.
At this time, the authorities suspect that the truck driver traveled while intoxicated and caused the collision.
The authorities arrested the pickup truck driver on suspicion of felony DUI.
