Motorcyclist Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles near Rainbow Valley Boulevard

FALLBROOK, CA (November 7, 2018) – A La Verne man was killed early Wednesday morning following a motorcycle accident on Interstate 15. The identity of the 26-year-old victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place shortly after 5:00 AM near Rainbow Valley Boulevard. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle stalled near Rainbow Valley, where the rider was struck by multiple oncoming vehicles.

The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at on site by emergency responders. Meanwhile, all of the drivers involved in the accident remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.

Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as possible contributing factors in the fatal crash, which remains under investigation. Witnesses are encouraged to cooperate by calling CHP Border Communications office at (858) 637-3800. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
