2 Hurt in Colma Crash on Hillside Boulevard

 
COLMA, CA (November 23, 2020) – Friday night, authorities arrested a 25-year-old Oakland man in an accident on Hillside Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the South San Francisco Police arrested the 25-year-old suspect on suspicion of vehicle theft and felony evasion. By Saturday, he’s still in custody at the San Mateo County jail.
 
The incident began at about 9:00 p.m. when the suspect stole a car from a parking lot in the 400 block of Collins Road. The owner witnessed how the car was stolen and contacted 911 as they followed the vehicle to San Francisco.
 
Then, the South San Francisco police officers found the vehicle on El Camino Real. They tried to stop it but it speeds away.
 
The pursuit continued through San Bruno and South Francisco. Then, the suspect crashed in the 1800 block of Hillside Boulevard.
 
Afterward, the vehicle struck an occupied vehicle and injured two occupants. Then, it crashed through the fence of a cemetery.
 
As a result, responders transported the two injured patients to a hospital for treatment of unidentified injuries. The authorities noted that the injuries were non-life-threatening.
 
Furthermore, the suspect was uninjured.
 
Ultimately, the two people who were in the parked car were hospitalized and treated for undisclosed injuries that were not life-threatening police said. The suspect wasn’t injured.
