24-Year-Old Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 395 and Dos Palmas Road [Victorville, CA]

1 Dead and 2 Injured in Victorville Auto Accident on Highway 395 and Dos Palmas Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 5, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a 24-year-old woman died in a head-on crash on Highway 395 and Dos Palmas Road.
 
The deadly incident occurred at around 6:07 a.m. on US Highway 395, south of Dos Palmas Road.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a white Chevy Silverado pickup truck and a silver 2011 Toyota Camry. Moreover, both cars sustained major damage and the sedan driver was trapped.
 
Thus, the Victorville City Firefighters utilized the jaws of life the free the woman from the sedan. Then, they called for a medical helicopter along with one additional ambulance.
 
Eventually, a Reach helicopter landed on the highway. However, the authorities canceled the request due to the patient’s condition. Instead, they took her through an ambulance to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez confirmed that one person died. Also, the deputies with the Victorville Station’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) came to the scene.
 
Moreover, two other truck occupants were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the identity of the female victim from Moreno Valley remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
Also, the incident closed Highway 395 between Luna Road and Dos Palmas Road in both directions. The roads remained closed for multiple hours.
