24-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash on Roxford Street and Foothill Boulevard [Sylmar, CA]

1 Dead in Sylmar Auto Accident on Roxford Street and Foothill Boulevard

 
SYLMAR, CA (February 22, 2021) – Sunday morning, a 24-year-old man died in a crash on Roxford Street and Foothill Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at around 12:10 a.m. when a driver headed east on Roxford Street. As the driver approached Foothill Boulevard, he let the vehicle leave the roadway, stated Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
As a result, the driver and passenger sustained severe injuries. Thus, paramedics transported both of them to area hospitals. However, the 24-year-old male passenger succumbed to injuries.
 
On the other hand, the authorities arrested the 21-year-old male driver. Authorities added that there were pending potential charges against him.
 
The crash remains under active investigation.
