Skateboard Accident on Avenue M Claimed the Life of a 23-Year-Old Man

 
Palmdale, CA (November 12, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 23-year-old man died in a skateboard accident on Avenue M, east of 15th Street East.
 
The fatal accident was reported at around 12 a.m. wherein a man was struck by a vehicle while he was riding his skateboard.
 
Apparently, the victim was riding a skateboard, while a 22 years old male was driving a 2016 Nissan. The Nissan was traveling east in the No. 1 lane of Avenue M and crashed into the victim.
 
Authorities pronounced the skateboarder dead at the scene. Though, they did not release his name pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the police closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of Avenue M to routine traffic between 15th Street East and 20th Street East until 8 a.m. while they investigate the incident.
