23-year-old Man Killed in DUI Crash on Highway 41 near Riverdale, Amber Sexton Arrested

 
Fresno County, CA (November 11, 2020) – On Tuesday, a 23-year-old male driver died, while police arrested 33-year-old Amber Sexton after a fatal DUI crash on Highway 41.
 
California Highway Patrol said Sexton was driving a U-Haul truck southbound on Highway 41 near Riverdale.
 
Just then, she went and crossed over into the northbound lane.
 
One of the oncoming vehicles was able to drift out of the way; however, it still crashed into a metal fence.
 
A bit later, CHP officials said Sexton crashed head-on into a blue Honda Civic.
 
The 23-year-old male Civic driver sustained critical injuries.
 
Immediately, rescuers life-flighted him to a Fresno hospital, where he later died.
 
Authorities withheld the deceased’s information for the time being.
 
Further, another vehicle was also struck in the aftermath of this head-on crash. , The driver did not get injured.
 
Sexton was hospitalized for moderate injuries. Police later arrested her.
 
The authorities closed the highway for several hours due to the incident.
