Pierre Oliver Arrested in Collision North of Mile Marker 39
Las Vegas, NV (June 27, 2022) – On June 18, 22-year-old Katherine Garcia died and police arrested Pierre Oliver in a DUI crash on US 95.
The fatal collision took place at about 10 p.m. on the southbound freeway, north of mile marker 39.
According to the investigators, a blue Honda Accord driven by Oliver was southbound when the driver failed to stay in the marked lane. As a result, the vehicle rotated counter-clockwise and entered the shoulder. Then, the vehicle went into the dirt center median and on an embankment before it finally overturned.
