Injuries Reported in Fatal Wrong-Way Crash at Airport Road
Minden, NV (April 27, 2022) On Saturday, 22-year-old Fallon Montanucci from Gardnerville was killed in a wrong-way collision on Highway 395.
According to the Nevada State Police (NSP) at around 4 a.m. a Ford F-150 collided with a Hyundai Accent at Airport Road.
Police say that the Ford was on the wrong lane of the highway.
Paramedics pronounced Montanucci dead at the scene, while a passenger of the Hyundai sustained major injuries.
Meanwhile, the Ford driver sustained injuries as well. Rescuers took both injured parties via Care Flight to a hospital.
The NSP believes speed and driving while impaired may have played a part n the crash.
Authorities are still investigating the crash and have not released additional information.
