2 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Lancaster DUI Accident on 27th Street East

 
LANCASTER, CA (August 24, 2021) – Monday morning, two women sustained injuries after a DUI crash on 27th Street East.
 
According to Sgt. L. Schreiver of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster Station, the incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the 44700 block of 27th Street East.
 
Reports revealed that a 2011 Nissan Altima lost control. Then, it crashed into the bedroom of a house where a 16-year-old and 7-year-old girl were both sleeping.
 
Furthermore, the 16-year-old was pinned between the vehicle and the wall. Meanwhile, the victim told the responders that she could not feel her legs. Thus, responders rushed her to a hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, the younger girl sustained cuts on her face and received treatment at the scene.
 
Moreover, responders transported the female driver of the vehicle after complaining of ankle pain. Then, authorities arrested the suspect on suspicion of DUI.
 
The incident remains under investigation.
