2 Women Hurt In Multi-Car Collision on Highway NN [Dunklin County, MO]

Dunklin County, MO (November 9, 2024) On Friday afternoon, a multi-car collision on Highway NN resulted in serious injuries for 2 women.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the 3-vehicle crash happened at about 5:18 p.m. on Highway NN, about one mile north of Gobler.

Reports say that the women sustained serious injuries after the three-vehicle crash.

Authorities say that the crash involved a 2006 Chevrolet Impala attempted to pass a 2010 Ford F150 but collided head-on with a 2012 Kia Optima. The impact caused the Ford to crash into the Chevrolet.

Emergency crews airlifted the 38-year-old Ford driver from Pollard, Arkansas, and the 21-year-old Kia driver from Steele, Missouri, to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment of serious injuries. The Chevrolet driver did not report injuries.

Authorities confirmed all involved were wearing safety belts at the time of the collision.
