How to Avoid Pedestrian Accidents

As everyone’s version of normal adjusts to the effects of recent events, more people are filling the streets and sidewalks. Along with this, pedestrian accidents continue to become more likely.

If you’re a pedestrian, always look before you step. Only cross streets at marked crosswalks/intersections. Moreover, make sure to obey traffic signals and watch for turning vehicles.

As a driver, you can avoid accidents by looking out for pedestrians. Especially in hard-to-see conditions such as at night or in bad weather.

Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious pedestrian accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured party.
